Great build quality here.. MADE IN USA!! HP 1008
I have been running Royal Purple's oil filter, but this filter is much better quality and has weight to it... It is made in USA... Hp 1008... Very pleased...

Removable with a Socket wrench on the top is the way to go!
Other wrenches squeeze and damage the oil filter while either tightening or loosening the filter and they are difficult to use because you need more space (which you usually don't have) to get your hands into use the wrench. It is easier and more accessible to remove from the filter from the top with a socket wrench, smart product!

Best performace oil filter out there for the price.
By far the best oil filter for my Z. Unfortunately kind of pricey at my local auto parts stores and a hit or miss on availability at my local Walmarts as well (though better price). I've been using these now for 3 years and have had no complaints, work good, come off easy when it's time to change them and they do not leak. Are made strong and sturdy.

Great oil filter. Best selling point is the wrench off ability as we all know K&N makes great oil filters
K&N always makes great oil filters. I buy this specific one because it allows you to take it off with a wrench. We all know how hard it is to turn when it gets oily and when the filter is in a tight/awkward location. I use this on my 2002 Acura RSX and the oil filter location is a pain on this car. So the ability to use a wrench to take it on and off is great.

Great alternative / upgrade to OEM
I have been using K&N oil filters on my 2009 Smart Brabus since new. The addition of the 'nut' on the bottom makes for easy removal when doing old changes. Given the fact the Smart takes Fully Synthetic oil but only 3.7 quarts, being charged $130 for an oil change is a bit of a stretch! I use this oil filter and do my own changes and this is a brand I trust.

1" nut is very helpful
the only bad thing is that your ratchet might slip off and strip the bolt if not careful or you are overtightening. but if only hand tight, then removing it with the bolt works wonders! the quality of these oil fiters are also very nice. look up on youtube to see side by side comparisons for these versus many other oil filters.

I read one review that said the seal wasn't good and the oil filter leaked but the thing is if you don't do the oil change right or if you miss a detail your putting yourself up the creek With my 2014 Sentra there was no leak but I know how to do oil changes, not saying it can't happen but from my experience the oil hasn't leaked In truth I'm going to put the co existing oil filter on my 2018 Kawasaki ninja 400 when it need it done in another 300 miles. But with this one I would use a 25 mm 12 point of contact socket

Great filter for a good price
I've been using these for the past couple oil changes because the 1 inch nut is so helpful on my Subaru Impreza. The location where they put the filter is right in between the downpipes so that makes it so I can barely get my hand in there let alone get a filter wrench in there! The nut makes it so easy so get the filter off now. Many people have been complaining about leaks from this filter but the past couple oil changes I haven't had any leaks

I use these with the synthetic oil recommended by the manufacturer
I use these with the synthetic oil recommended by the manufacturer. After 6,000 miles, the oil is so clean I feel guilty changing it. Also, where I was having problems finding a suitable wrench for the different size filters I previously used, these are very easy to tighten / remove using a boxed end wrench.
