2005 Ford Focus ZX4 ST 2.3L engine 163098 miles, Original factory mount: For less than ten dollars, this is a great value. Removal of the old one was easier than expected. The mounting tabs are fairly soft metal that bends easily and the same for the new mount. To remove the old one you have to bend down both tabs. The rear one will not completely flatten out but can be driven out with a punch and hammer. The new rear tab will need a slight upward bend at the leading edge in order to slip past the black mounting plate which does need to be removed. Bending the front tab is easily accomplished with a hammer and punch. The rear is trickier as any pounding tends to make it want to slip forward. Using pliers, bend the tab upward as much as possible to keep the tab from sliding. A piece of angle iron under the bent up edge and a large C-clamp will allow the tab to be bent upward along a straight line. From there, the C-clamp can be used to flatten the tab against the support legs then over the top and clamp down. The old mount is shown. The second photo shows the metal-to-metal contact from the worn mount on the rear side causing significant noise and vibration. The third shows the same wear but the metal-to-metal is not as obvious.

Worked like a charm

This is a great product and great price. It got rid of my annoying vibration I was feeling. I can rev the engine and I don't feel anything now just very nice and smooth. To take old motor mount off I had to use a wide flat screwdriver to unbend the two tabs than slide out old motor mount and new one slid back onto bracket than the to tabs had to be re bent around. I was surprised it was put together and replaced like that but it really was not all that bad to do. Just surprised it was put together that way. All in all pretty easy job and glad I got it done. Would recommend and would buy again. OEM quality looked pretty much the same.

excellent!

unbeknownst to me, the original engine mount on my 2006 Mazda 5 had given up a while ago. after 130K miles, the clunking on speed bumps led me to this part. did the trick, engine much quieter now and no clunking on speed bumps. this part made more sense than the complete unit - saves money and retains the original quality metal bracket. recommend a bench vise to clamp this part onto the bracket.

Is as advertised. Got a 2012 ford transit connect, had a real real weird vibration, got worse with the torque curve of the engine, tot the point itd shake your butt in the seat, mirrors would move, all that. this took 90% of it away, guessing i got more to replace

Probably the best $15 I have ever spent on my car

I just put this in yesterday. Probably the best $15 I have ever spent on my car. I had no idea my original mount was so shot. When I took it off it was in two pieces. The new one went in and almost all vibration was gone from the engine upon start. It feels like it did when I first bought the car. What an improvement!

Easy install.

Worked perfect. Had a vibration and what sounded like exhaust leak. This part replaced and its quite again. Don’t need to buy whole mount. Took 20 minutes to install.

Made my car go from loud and annoying to drive to practically "new car" quiet. 2007 Focus zx3. I'll update this review if anything changes but for now everything is perfect. Also: I don't know if this is relevant or important, but I didn't bend the leg down around the motor mount strut, but rather just inserted it through the slot.
